1. They serve interesting Hawaiian-inspired eats

Poke bowls may be all the rage in Singapore, but few places offer an authentic taste of Hawaiian cuisine.

At Ola Beach Club, diners will be able to taste Hawaiian-style dishes such as Lomi-Lomi Salmon ($16) and Kalua Pig Taco ($25) , alongside the said poke bowls.

The Kalua Pig Taco is one of the more memorable dishes on the menu, imparting a smoky sweetness thanks to its curing process and three-hour steaming.

What you get is tender, albeit messy shreds of pork, sandwiched in a taco shell with house-made Roma tomato relish, guacamole, fresh lettuce and melted cheddar cheese.

The quintessential Ahi Poke Bowl ($20) doesn’t disappoint either, with bright and fresh flavours courtesy of the lightly marinated tuna, complemented by the likes of creamy guacamole, crunchy pumpkin seeds and pomegranate seeds.
