Malaysia Property Show

Interest in investing in Malaysian property is set to rise, with the ringgit at an all-time low against the Singapore dollar and the upcoming Singapore-Kuala Lumpur High Speed Rail project in the works.

To find out more about investing in Malaysian property, head over to the PropertyGuru Malaysia Property Show on Sep 12 and 13, from 11am to 7pm, at Rendezvous Hotel’s Symphony Ballroom.

The two-day property exhibition will bring together top residential, commercial and mixed-use developments from across Malaysia.

In addition to previewing these latest projects, investors will also be able to attend exclusive talks by industry thought leaders and speak face-to-face with representatives from the various property developers.

The exhibition will also highlight the different property hotspots in Malaysia as well as the 2016 market outlook.

Bangkok Skyline Property Show

Those looking to take their investments a bit further may want to consider the Bangkok property market.

Last year, some 40 per cent of purchases of new condominium units, including three-bedroom units, in Bangkok were made by buy-to-rent investors. Of these units, 70 per cent are still undergoing construction in downtown Bangkok.

For many market-watchers, Bangkok continues to offer potentially lucrative property investment opportunities with the promise of strong rental yields and returns on capital appreciation. Currently, over 90 per cent of residential tenants in Bangkok pay rents in excess of THB20,000 ($788) per month.

Demand for rental units is also set to rise, with the number of expats increasing by 9.5 per cent between the third quarter of 2014 and 2015, according to real estate firm CBRE’s report.

To find out more about investing in Bangkok, visit PropertyGuru’s Bangkok Skyline Property Show on Sep 19 and 20, 11am to 7pm, at Regent Hotel’s Level 3 Boardroom. Visitors will get a glimpse at exclusive project developments specially brought in from Property Perfect, one of Thailand’s prominent property developers.
